CHAMBER UPDATES | JUNE 27, 2025

Dear Chamber Leaders,

WOW!!! What a month of June!

  • Chamber Reds Game outing - Check
  • Northgate Mural Wall completed - Check
  • Colerain Township Bus Tour - Check
  • Successful Hometown Hero Event - Check
  • Cincy Magazine, Colerain Edition released - Check and double check.

My sense of humor suggests that I'm Czech, and of course, Moravec is definitely of that nationality.

With the summer months heating up, many chambers of commerce tend to slow down, but not us. Our monthly events will continue as listed below with upcoming highlights that include:

  • July 3-4 - Colerain Township Fireworks Celebration & Pray-Hope-Believe 5K Walk/Run
  • July 12 - Hands Across Colerain to celebrate the mural
  • July 17 - Third Thursday Networking Event at Vinoklet Winery
  • August 6 - Back to School Health and Safety Fair, which will include Financial Literacy education for the first time.
  • August 15 - BB Riverboat dinner cruise
  • August 21 - Third Thursday Networking Event at Madi's House
  • September 12 - Fire and Police Appreciation Breakfast

A special thank you goes to Dean Ferrier and the Team Up to Green Up initiative for their efforts to keep the Northgate wall corridor litter free and "Snazzy" for the completion of the mural, and to the Hometown Hero Committee (Beth, Patti, Drew, Cheryl, and Teresa) who pulled off an amazing evening event with class. It would not have been possible without the help of our main sponsors, Everest Financial (our 401K MEAP Plan partner) and Emery Federal Credit Union, who also provided significant volunteer support for the event.

THANK YOU!!!

Best wishes this summer season!

Dave

Beer & Biz Networking

T

Beers & Biz is a monthly B2B Networking event that includes monthly topical roundtable discussions and open networking.

Roundtable Discussions are broken into primary areas of leadership roles and function and are designed to be topical discussions facilitated by a local leader in each group. These groups are great opportunities for peer-to-peer engagement, sharing of industry best practices, and real-time learnings and struggles of currently relevant topics.

While Beer & Biz is not hosted by the Colerain Chamber, Dave serves on the steering committee and we are glad to support this opportunity for our members to connect, network, and engage with business professionals from across the city in a fresh, dynamic setting. The location changes monthly, and we will update our monthly calendar.
