Greetings!

This year marks 52 years since I arrived in Canada. Reflecting on that journey, I’m reminded of the kindness, compassion, and respect that define this country- values that shaped my life and continue to guide our work today. During a recent visit to Tanzania and Kenya, I was struck by how deeply Canada is respected around the world, not for its power, but for its commitment to caring for others.

As we reach the midpoint of the year, we’re grateful for the progress we’ve made together. With your support, we continue to create meaningful impact.

Humanitarian Trip Returns

After a meaningful and inspiring journey to Kenya, the ABW group has returned home with renewed purpose and countless memories. During their visit, members toured project sites, connected with local communities, witnessed the impact of ongoing initiatives. The trip provided an opportunity to see firsthand how partnership and service are making a difference, while gaining a deeper understanding of the people and communities ABW supports. Another Completed Tanzania School

We're thrilled to share the successful completion of another school project in Tanzania! Kivilicha Secondary School is home to about 234 students who live in a rural community. Their livelihoods are centered on agriculture, tea plantations, and small scale trade. Their previous lassrooms were all in poor condition, but with these three new classrooms they now have a safer, and better environment to learn in. Read more about the project HERE

Upcoming Projects

As we look ahead, we're excited to continue working alongside our donors and the communities we serve on several upcoming projects. Following the recent scoping trip by our Project Manager, we've added a number of new projects to our list of projects for the year. From improving access to education and clean water to supporting health and community development initiatives, each project is guided by local needs and made possible through your generosity.
