BROWN, JOHNSON HOIST FIRST 2019 CHECKERED FLAGS ON FAST FRIDAY
The Tom Wood Group Indianapolis Speedrome Powered by Lincoln Tech had fired up fans and racers alike ready for fast Friday August 23rd. The Last Chance Wrecker Factory Front Wheel Drives had a climatic ending to the main event as point leader Nigel Peters frantically tried to take Tylar Brown’s first season win from him. Tylar nicely held on for the triumph. Jess Holliday was third followed by Don VanValkenburg III, and Jeremy Tunny. Brown and Tunny took heat victories.
 
The Circle City Pyrotechnics Junior Faskarts had another tremendous car count bringing a pair of features. The first saw Daqua Johnson notch career win number two and first of the season besting Leland Hargraves, Jayden Durham, Mikey White III, and Isaiah Witt. The second main had Ashton Murello marching to his second triumph of the campaign over Johnny Bishop, John Hargraves Jr, Tyler Morefield, and Trinity Armour. Preliminary races were taken by Nathan Brown, Morefield and Murello.
 
The EnergyPros.com Fords had a hearty pack of racers on hand. The oval feature saw a feat never before seen in the class, a third straight win. The accomplishment was made by Quentin White who finished first ahead of Matt Witty, Andrew Brown, Josh Fults, and Jeff Herron. The Figure 8 main saw a last lap pass as Witty muscled past long-time leader Tyler Conley for the victory. Jeremy Miller was third trailed by Fults and John Gimbel. Conley and Witty took heats.
 
The Reef Aquarium Shop Adult Faskarts started their evening with birthday girl Skylar Shouse notching her first checkered flag of 2019 in the preliminary heat. The feature saw sibling and point leader Dayton Shouse reaching victory lane. Skylar was second followed by Dave Drinkard, Mark Murello, and David Gehrke.
