Breathtaking Views from Phoenix Industrial Project in Fairbanks, Alaska

Phoenix Industrial is currently fulfilling two contracts for Kinross Ft. Knox Gold in Fairbanks, Alaska. One is to pour concrete for two new Cyanide tanks, the other is the installation of a new conveyor system. The team hopes to have all concrete poured by mid-November and then return in March of 2023 to install structural/mechanical/electrical portions of the project. Anticipated completion June 2023. Check out the beautiful aurora borealis witnessed by the on-site team last week on Beekeeper.

Open Enrollment Starts Next Week

Open Enrollment will be available through MasTec’s benefits portal, UKG Benefits Prime, starting next week October 31 through November 14. Access your UKG Pro account online or download the UKG Pro Mobile App.

No changes to your benefits through MasTec for 2023? Do not want to enroll in a Flexible Spending Account for 2023? You don’t need to do anything!

If you would like to maintain your current coverage (with current dependents) or waived status, no action is needed. Your current elections, including your 2022 life and disability elections, will carry over at 2023 rates.
Health Care and/or Dependent Care FSA election(s) will not automatically carry over to 2023. You must actively enroll in an FSA each plan year during Open Enrollment.
If you are new to MasTec benefits for 2023 you MUST take action and actively enroll during Open Enrollment.

Concur & Express Travel Coming Soon

As MasTec Industrial expands and grows, the need for a standard credit card process is needed. It will now be easier to charge expenses to Phoenix, Casey, Wanzek and MasTec Industrial companies, as well as different projects within the companies.

This change will help keep expenses more organized and minimize errors within Concur. Stay tuned for more information coming soon regarding training and next steps.

NOTE: MIC Current Concur Users: The Concur Blackout period has ended and you now have 45 days to submit any PNC charges dated prior to October 24. If you have questions regarding your account, email pcard@wanzek.com.

Express Travel Coming in November

MasTec Industrial’s new Travel portal for airfare, hotels and rental cars is coming soon. Starting early November, all travel arrangements will need to be made through the new portal. For Casey Industrial, this means Egencia travel site will no longer be available starting early November. Trainings for Express Travel will be held during the following times. Watch for calendar invitations coming soon:
