The 2026 JTES Battle of the Books was a reading slam dunk! In this school‑wide, March‑Madness‑style competition, classes voted their way through a bracket of favorite books, with Don't Trust Fish taking the top spot and Dog vs. Strawberry as runner‑up.

The PTO provided one copy of each finalist book for every class, and the competition was facilitated by our reading specialists, Ms. Tester and Mrs. Michaels.

As PSSA testing approaches, the PTO is proud to cheer on our students!

All testing classrooms will be stocked with Life Savers and Jolly Ranchers, and students school‑wide can look forward to pretzels on Day 1 of ELA testing and fruit snacks on Day 1 of Math testing—a little encouragement (and a little fun!) to support everyone’s success.
