Systemic injustices have plagued our country since its founding, and have especially impacted people of color and historically marginalized groups. From racism and poverty, to sexism and health inequity, NYC youth have the odds stacked up against them.
How do we address these injustices? Through community.
For over 160 years, YWCA-NYC has been at the forefront of addressing these injustices. Our after-school and summer programming is free of cost and has no academic requirement. NYC youth receive educational support, advocacy training, and career mentorship. They find a community of support with YWCA-NYC.
