JFK Millennium Partners and AECOM Hunt

Pathways to Connect & Compete Program

JFK Millennium Partners has been granted approval by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to build a new $3.9 billion state-of-the-art Terminal 6 at JFK International Airport.

There will be over $500 Million in Construction Service bid packages that will be released between now and the end of the year.

In addition, there will also be smaller and locally focused procurements starting in November for office suppliers, security guards, coffee/water/first aid supplies, vibration monitoring, street sweeping, trash hauling, scaffolding, and more.

On Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 2 pm-4 pm the procurement team from AECOM Hunt hosted the first Pathways to Connect and Compete Series providing information on how to gain access to packages (both as prime and subcontractor) and how to navigate the pre-qualification process in Building Connected. Webinar sessions are scheduled every Tuesday 2 PM until November 23, 2021.

NYCHA Seeks Developers to Fix 6,000 Apartments under PACT deal

The city’s public housing authority, NYCHA, is looking for more private sector developers to help repair thousands of public apartments. NYCHA has released a new Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) to attract development partners for projects under its Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program to repair and preserve more than 5,900 units in the Bronx and Upper Manhattan.

Queen City of the Sound International Jazz Concert

Last October 9, 2021, New Rochelle residents enjoyed jazz in the heart of downtown! The City of New Rochelle, in partnership with R.F. Wilkins Consultants and New Rochelle Industrial Development Agency (NRIDA), as part of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI), presented the Queen City of the Sound International Jazz Concert. Invited artists include Louis Hayes and Cannonball Legacy Band, Bobby Sanabria Nonet, Brazilian Jazz Ensemble, GJC All-Star Female Band, Rocky Middleton Jazz Ensemble.
