Our work for peace and justice remains essential!
Trump has been elected to the Presidency again, likely signaling a shift towards increasing autocracy and possible follow-through on Project 2025. The wars rage on in Gaza, Lebanon, Ukraine, and numerous other places, while the planet continues to heat. As peace women, we must care for one another, strengthen our organizing, and expand our capacity.
There is so much to be done; so much organizing and strengthening is needed! In these challenging times, WILPF continues to foster a unique feminist, grassroots network of progressives tackling critical issues. To support this mission, we’re taking bold steps:
• New Field Organizer
We’ve hired Shelby Young, an experienced organizer, to aid branch-level recruitment, strengthening, and outreach. She’s already making progress.
• The Lloyd Family Legacy Campaign
Thanks to our platinum donor, Robin Lloyd, this special campaign will fund an accomplished executive director for WILPF and a national visibility campaign to enhance WILPF’s profile and influence.
• Launching our new website
After years of preparation and work, we’re hoping for a celebratory webinar in January to show off the new website and the work we’ve put into it. Watch for an eAlert in the New Year. (Email me if you want to be involved in that creative work!)
Will you stand with us TODAY?
To honor our 110th Anniversary, coming up on April 28, 2025, please consider stretching a bit to give $110 – or whatever you can afford.
We thank you for your continued support as we envision our collective future in these unprecedented times.
