Happy 30^th Anniversary to Gold Country Communities Society and Happy Halloween weekend.

This has been a very productive and busy month. The GC road crew has been out and about taking seasonal imagery for upcoming digital medial productions and print productions, writing new content and applying for grants for the new GeoTour! Did you see us out and about? Most recently we wrapped up 2 days of filming in the creative, and scenic community of Ashcroft, BC. Film footage was also captured of Logan Lake, with more to come. Stay tuned to the Gold Country Social media channels for updates and film previews/premiere notices.

Special thanks to Chief Frank Antoine, Bonaparte Band and Hat Creek Ranch for hosting a collaborative session and fam tour. It was an amazing day of great conversations, reflection and seeing the incredible trails that are under construction at McAbee Fossil Bed. We live, work and play in such a dynamic and culturally diverse region. Special thanks to the eagles that flew over during this further highlighting the need for collective, thoughtful and forward thinking conversations. Together we can ensure a future for our grandchildren’s children and their future generations.

Gold Country is making progress in the plan for the next GeoTour. Announcement of dates will be made in the new year. Here we grow!

When out and about please continue to be kind, patient and respectful. Many businesses are still in transition due to the new BC Health requirements. Masks are required indefinitely at this point. Gold Country now has newly branded masks that will be for sale in the near future and handed out as give a way too. We have sage green, dark blue and coming soon pink and on order, orange! We have also received some very cool swag that promotes reusing and recycling. Want to win a special gift set?
