|
| | Thank You for an Incredible Veterans Appreciation Day! | |
Frederick Veterans and Family,
On behalf of the Frederick County Veterans Advisory Council, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made our 2nd Annual Veterans Appreciation Day a resounding success.
To our incredible veterans and their families, thank you for attending and allowing us to honor your service and sacrifice. Seeing so many of you connect with one another and with the community was truly the highlight of the day.
We are also deeply grateful to the vendors and organizations that participated. Your presence and commitment to providing valuable resources and information were essential. The support you offer our veteran community is invaluable, and we couldn't have done it without you.
Finally, thank you to the many volunteers and community members who helped with everything from setting up to cleanup. Your hard work and dedication show the true spirit of Frederick County.
This event is a testament to our community's strong commitment to supporting our veterans. We are already looking forward to next year's event and hope to see you all there.
See you next year,
Patrick Pierson

AUSA Catoctin Chapter
The AUSA Catoctin Chapter advocates for Active, Reserve, and Civilians at Fort Detrick, Frederick, and Washington Counties. This includes ROTC at Hood, Mt. St. Mary’s, and McDaniel colleges. We provide a platform to enhance and serve in support of Fort Detrick's morale, welfare, and recreational activities.
We seek to volunteer for all opportunities that bring visibility and honor to America’s Armed Forces, and benefit to the Fort Detrick military and civilian community.
We recently coordinated with Fort Detrick's 6th MCLC/Soldier and Family Readiness Group to conduct an Organizational Day. Several other area non-profits and volunteers supported the event, including Platoon 22. We look forward to additional event support, participation, and opportunities to help active duty and veterans in Frederick County.
