Sea Pines Trolley Service Summer Schedule Update

Sea Pines Trolley service is dependent on staff members who are licensed CDL drivers; many of our trolley drivers are also employed as bus drivers for the local schools, with school resuming in early August, we are losing several trolley drivers for the season.

The Red and Green Routes will end service for the season on August 14th due to driver shortages. The Blue Route will continue service from 9am-5pm through September 5th.

Wildlife Reminders
It's Sea Turtle Hatching Season!
Loggerheads are listed as a threatened species by both the federal government and the state of South Carolina. Remember these rules to promote the survival of Loggerheads on Hilton Head Island:

  • Fill holes and flatten sand castles before leaving the beach.
  • Never leave beach umbrellas, chairs, or any other beach accessories on the beach overnight. Nesting female turtles may get tangled in them, and for hatchlings they are often impassable and disorienting.
  • Place all trash and recyclables in the appropriate receptacles.
  • Only use red flashlights on the beach.
  • Never disturb a sea turtle nest, a nesting sea turtle or a hatchling.
  • If your building is visible from the beach, turn off your outside lights at 10 pm.
  • If any of your interior lights are visible from the beach or cast light on the beach, close blinds or drapes at 10 pm or turn lights off.
