Blood Drive - Thursday, September 17

In the United States, a blood transfusion occurs every two seconds. To adequately support the Southern California hospitals served by the San Diego Blood Bank, hundreds of donations are needed each day.

Help save lives by donating blood at our upcoming Blood Drive on Thursday, September 17, 2026, located at the Crean Lutheran fire lane near the locker rooms. Appointments are required. Sign Up Today!

This closed Blood Drive is open to Crean Lutheran staff/faculty, students, and parents. Donors must be 17 years old, weigh at least 114 pounds, and present a photo ID at the appointment. (Students between the ages of 17 and 18 may only donate blood every six months.) Graduation cords are available for students who donate twice by graduation.

If you have any questions, please email ruth.cheung@creanlutheran.org.

Student Club Applications

Student Club Applications are now open and will be accepted until Monday, September 21. The club application will be sent out on Canvas when it opens. Before applying, please review the list of returning clubs for the 2026-2027 school year to see whether your club idea matches one that already exists. If so, we encourage you to reach out to the club president or visit their table during Club Rush to get involved, rather than submitting a new application.

All Crean Lutheran clubs must align with our school's mission of Proclaiming Jesus Christ, and support who we are and what we believe. We can accept only 50 clubs each school year, so clubs should strive to address a need not already met by school classes, cohorts, co-curricular programs, or returning clubs when applying. The decision committee will review all club applications after the deadline closes.

Review the following information: Club Requirements & Advisor Roles. Please be sure to ask a faculty or staff member to advise your club before listing them in the application. They must agree to the role before you submit the application.

Club Application Timeline:

  • Tuesday, September 8 - Club Applications OPEN
  • Monday, September 21 - Club Applications CLOSE at midnight
  • Thursday, September 24 - Emails are sent to all clubs and advisors informing them whether your club has been accepted for the 2026-2027 school year.
  • Tuesday, September 29 - Club Rush (Accepted Clubs Only)

If you have any questions, please email SLT@creanlutheran.org.
