Dear Colleagues,

As part of our 2026 wellness initiative we're kicking off a social media campaign entitled "Take a Chill Pill." This is a great way to get to know NCMS board members along with hearing their stories about their outlook on their career, personal life, and relaxation techniques. We want to humanize the experience by sharing personal experiences about stress and how we prioritize self-care, rejuvenation, and relaxation.
If you'd like to share a one minute video about how you chill, please send them to Executive Director Crystal Goodman. The board will review them for distribution on our You Tube channel, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other media materials. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Warm regards,
Scott Dhupar, MD
President North Colorado Medical Society

How are we really doing? During a physician-to-physician conversation on wellbeing, we experienced an evening of reflection and discussion led by CPHP clinical experts Associate Medical Director Mary Ellen Caiati, MD and Lead Clinician Quinn Montgomery, LPC, ACS. We learned breathing techniques, how to quickly unwind during a stressful day, and ways to approach those struggling with stress and mental health issues.
Keep in mind as a member, you have free access to the Doc 2 Doc Program in which you receive 3 free private confidential counseling sessions. Check out the CMS Physician Wellbeing Resource Center for more information.
