3 Rules for Jewelry that lasts

Jewelry Care 101: Keep Your Favorites Sparkling

Your Brighton pieces are meant to be worn — often, and for years to come. Here's how to keep them looking their best:

Clean gently. A soft, dry cloth is usually all you need. For a deeper clean, a very slightly damp cloth works — but skip anything abrasive, and never submerge pieces in water.

Store it smart. Keep pieces separated (a jewelry box with individual compartments or small pouches works great) so they don't scratch each other or tangle.

Watch for the everyday culprits. Perfume, lotion, and hairspray can dull metal finishes over time. A good habit: jewelry goes on after your routine, not before.

Layer with intention. Mixing metals and textures is very much in style right now — but start with one "anchor" piece (like a statement necklace) and build around it, rather than piling everything on at once.

New Year. New You. Kids too!

Back-to-School Gifting Guide

Whether it's a teacher, a graduate, a grandchild heading off to college, or your own kiddo's first day, August is full of little moments worth marking. A few ideas from the shop:

  • For teachers: A small, thoughtful token goes a long way at the start of a busy year — think a pretty tumbler, a scented candle, or a small keepsake dish for their desk.
  • For the college-bound: A few comfort-of-home touches for a dorm room — cozy throw pillows, a photo frame, or a small piece of jewelry to remind them of home.
  • For the little ones: Fun, colorful accessories that make the first day feel a little more exciting.
  • For yourself: Because "new school year, new routine" is a valid reason to treat yourself, too.

Stop in this month and let us help you find the right piece for whoever's on your list.
