The inaugural NW Tune Up Festival* brings bikes, beer, and music together on 17-acres of Bellingham's waterfront from July 8 - 10. No better way to celebrate our Pacific NW Culture. Attendees can explore world-class mountain bike singletrack on Galbraith and Chuckanut Mountains, enjoy each evening’s lineup of live music on Bellingham’s waterfront or indulge in the best beers from across the Northwest. Proceeds from event will go to several non-profit, local organizations. |

Skagit Speedway events are going full throttle! Fans turn out for the family atmosphere, pre-event pit parties to check out the cars and meet drivers, on-site camping and fireworks shows. And after a years-long break, 410 sprint cars are back at the track and will be featured during Birch Night @ Skagit Speedway* on Ju ly 30th! Kids will love the Candy Scramble with thousands of pieces of candy scattered on the track for kids to grab.

The 10,000-seat venue attracts 100,000 fans from April - September -- not bad considering its humble beginnings on Labor Day 1954, when a homemade flag signaled the start for 20 old jalopies for Skagit Speedway's first race.

The 39th Annual Midnight Sun Run is this weekend! A uniquely Alaskan event in Fairbanks, it attracts people from all over the country and world from elite runners looking for a win to back of the pack strollers. The race starts at 10pm, June 18 - no headlamps or flashlights required thanks to the summer solstice sun that lights the way. Costumes encouraged! Can't make it in-person?
