Letter from Our President
John Middleton CFA, CFP®, AIF®, CAIA
I hope everyone is doing well, staying busy, and healthy!
The Financial Planning Association of New Jersey has had a very productive start to the year with a healthy variety of educational events and a well-run, well-attended Spring Conference! We have continued to focus on providing value for your membership and have a number of events coming up over the remainder of 2021 we hope will further contribute to the value proposition.
We will be hosting an appreciation event for all FPANJ members on August 5th at Bellworks in Holmdel and hope everyone will consider attending. For many of us, it will be the first opportunity in over a year to meet and mingle in person with our peers. We’ll follow that up with a return to in-person meetings with our Fall Conference in November. More details to follow on that event.
For those of you interested or curious about getting involved with FPANJ, we have a number of committees and welcome you to join us. We have committees focused on Education, Advocacy, Pro-Bono, public relations, strategic alliances (our sponsors), and Major Conferences as well as committees that focus on NextGen, diversity, and inclusion, and women. All of our committees welcome new members and appreciate the contribution existing members continue to make toward each initiative.
For more information on our committees and upcoming events please visit www.fpanj.org or contact Corrine or me. We’ll be happy to speak with you and get you connected to the right groups. As always, we welcome comments and questions and encourage everyone to connect with us.
Regards,
John Middleton
