The Company

Midwest Paratransit Services is a provider of paratransit services in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. The Company was founded in 1995 and has continued to grow under the ownership of Matthew and Heather Liveringhouse.

The Deal

Beacon Mobility (“Beacon”) has invested in Midwest Paratransit Services to further accelerate the organic growth of the company and realize synergies with its existing operations. The addition of Midwest Paratransit Services also expands Beacon’s existing paratransit presence in Minnesota.

The Thesis

Audax Private Equity completed its investment in Beacon in May 2018. Audax has invested in the company’s organic initiatives and expanded its service offerings, growing from a Massachusetts-based provider of transportation services for special-needs students to a national specialty transportation platform operating in 22 states across the U.S. Consistent with the original thesis to build the consolidator of choice in specialty transportation services, Midwest Paratransit Services marks Beacon’s 19th acquisition under Audax ownership.
