Covid-19 Booster Clinic at Bentley
Moderna and Pfizer boosters only.

Register through Hartford HealthCare to book an appointment for our December booster clinic. You must register for the type of booster you plan to receive: for Pfizer boosters click here and for Moderna boosters click here. Remember to bring your ID, insurance card, and vaccination card. To ensure you are eligible to receive a booster, visit the Hartford HealthCare website.

New Student Driver in the Family?

Are you finding other drivers tailgate or become aggressive when your new driver is behind the wheel? Bentley Memorial Library has Student Driver magnets available to borrow for up to three months.

You may borrow up to three magnets at a time. Some people use one for the back of the car only while others prefer to use all three so the front car doors have a magnet as well.

Burlap Wreath and Bow Making
Thursday, Dec. 2 at 6:30
Join us on Zoom as Lindsey Hottin from Lindsey’s Craft Studio teaches us how to create a burlap wreath and tie a beautiful bow. We will provide a kit including the metal frame, burlap and ribbon. You provide additional decorations you would like to add, if any. Kits will be available November 30 – December 2 at Bentley Memorial Library.
 
Meet Mrs. Claus & her elf friends for a fun-filled family night!
Monday, Dec. 20 at 6:30 p.m.
Join us on Zoom for a virtual storytime, sing-along, AND Q&A time! Kids can ask Mrs. Claus and the elves questions about the North Pole, Santa, or anything that comes to mind. When Mrs. Claus and her friends head back to the North Pole, stay with us for a craft project.

Black Bears
Monday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. on Zoom
Join Ray Hardy, Bolton resident and DEEP Master Wildlife Conservationist for this Zoom presentation on the natural history of black bears in CT. Ray will discuss current findings on population densities as well as means of safely coexisting with these amazing creatures.

Join us on Zoom for silly winter and holiday stories while snuggled up in your favorite pajamas.

After the stories stay for a demonstration of our craft activity. Craft kits are available for pick up at the library December 4 – December 9. This program is ideal for children under age 10, but all are welcome.
Adult Book Discussion on Zoom

With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, we have selected this classic short story for our December book discussion. This highly acclaimed story will bring you to rural Alabama for traditions and fruitcake during one special holiday between Buddy and his cousin. Request a copy of the book upon registration.
2nd Annual - Oh So Cozy Blanket Drive
Bentley will once again collect NEW, handmade, crochet, knit and tie blankets and quilts. Your wonderful creations will be donated to Holy Family Home Shelter in Willimantic and Cornerstone Shelter in Vernon/ Rockville. Want to learn how to make a tie blanket? Watch our how-to video.
