Meet Jordan Drayton, Marketing Specialist for Transportation and Parking Services.

Jordan recently joined TAPS and is the mastermind behind its social media accounts, creating engaging content and helping build the TAPS brand every day. She also supports other TAPS communications efforts, including parking updates and impact notices.

Customer Service Excellence

Denitra Johnson (left) and Mary Beth Mohr (right) of Business Services were recently commended by fellow UF staff members and campus partners for their tremendous work and for going above and beyond to provide high-quality customer service.

Denitra, a Fiscal Assistant, recently coordinated with the Elementary Education Program to facilitate the printing of GATORONE Cards for Fall 2026 Student Orientation. She managed the entire card production process, ensuring a smooth outcome and helping teacher candidates in the program begin their field-based placements at schools across Alachua County for the academic year.

Mary Beth, also a Fiscal Assistant, recently worked with an external partner to assist with several billing-related questions. She drew on her years of financial expertise and strong interpersonal communication skills to resolve the issues quickly and professionally while providing the highest level of customer service to the client.

Transact Mobile App

You can skip the line and order ahead with Transact Mobile. You can use the app to place pickup orders from participating campus dining locations and pay using FacultyStaff Flex, debit or credit. You can even use the app to reserve your spot at select campus events. Be sure to download the app and make dining on campus a little easier.

Quiet Dining Area

Florida Fresh Dining recently launched its Quiet Dining Area located at The Food Hall at Gator Corner. This new section of The Food Hall allows students and other patrons to get away from the noise and provide a quiet, relaxing environment to enjoy a meal or get some work done.

EH&S Highlights Safety Throughout October

Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) is recognizing October as Safety Month with a series of events focused on building a stronger culture of safety across campus.

The month highlights several October safety observances, including Biosafety & Biosecurity Month, Fire Prevention Month and National Chemistry Week.
