Inaugural Zoom

key judicial and legislative developments shaping our democracy

Sunday, July 26@9am central / 10am eastern - Zoom

Join us Sunday, July 26th at 9:00 am Central on Zoom for **Current Events**, our first-time inaugural Zoom issue discussion moderated by Bruce.

Bruce will kick things off with an NWSOFA Coffee & Conversation-style update on key judicial and legislative developments shaping our democracy, from recent court decisions to congressional and state-level action.

This session is designed to be highly interactive, not a lecture. After Bruce’s brief rundown, we’ll move quickly into discussion and Q&A so participants can react to the latest news, ask clarifying questions, and dig into what these changes mean for our organizing work across the US.

We’ll connect the headlines directly to NWSOFA priorities—voter outreach, issue advocacy, and coalition efforts—so you leave with clear talking points and next steps. Cameras and mics are encouraged to keep the conversation lively and engaging.
