Holiday Dinner and Scholarship Celebration Tuesday, December 5, 5:00 p.m.

Osburndale House, 1016 Lilac Avenue, Big Rapids

We are trying a new venue for this year's holiday dinner! With many members from the Canadian Lakes area, our long-time Reed City location is a long drive on a winter night.

Next year we are considering a Saturday holiday/scholarship brunch at Pere Marquette! This year let's enjoy the historic Osburndale House on the Muskegon River!

Hopefully we'll enjoy the view a little while before the sun sets. We hope you can attend this annual event to celebrate our scholarship recipients and spend time together.

Giving Tuesday, November 28

Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and the day after Cyber Monday. Since AAUW-Big Rapids members heard from WISE Director Jane Currie in October, and we will be visiting the Museum of Sexist Objects this month, members might be interested in making contributions to both of these local causes. WISE will have a presence at this year's Community Giving Day, held November 28 at the Eagles, 18361 16 Mile Rd, Big Rapids, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can also contribute to WISE through their website.

To designate a gift to the Museum of Sexist Objects through the Ferris website, go to https://www.ferris.edu/giving/give-now/index.htm, scroll down to the box for the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education and click "Support CASE," choose “Other designation” from options in the dropdown menu, and type "Museum of Sexist Objects" in the box below.
