It’s no secret that gas prices are at an all-time high, but they don’t have to spoil your plans for that special getaway to any of the Distinctive Inns of New England (DINE). According to USA Today, as of March 9, 2022 the price of gas reached a record high (not accounting for inflation), surpassing a high that had stood for nearly 14 years with an average national price for a gallon of regular at $4.17. Anyone who has filled up the tank recently has had to dig deep, with the cost of a full tank nearly doubling in some states.
