This Sunday is the annual Bodhi Day Celebration across many parts of the globe. We pause this day to honor the Buddha and the process of enlightenment asking what it means to live attentively.

On Sunday December 8th at 10am, we will begin to explore the different holidays celebrated in the winter. We plan to discover the special lights associated with each holiday and what the lights symbolize. Robin Mitzcavitch, UUCW Dir. of Religious Exploration

It's that time of the year again - the annual sale of Poinsettias will begin on Sunday, November 24 in Fellowship Hall during Coffee Hour! Remember a loved one and decorate our Sanctuary with a lovely Poinsettia.

We were saddened to learn of the death of Helen Jones (mother of Rachel Peckar) last month. Helen was a member of the Stow Acton UU Church. Services are being planned for later this Spring. Condolences can be shared with Rachel and her family at webmaster@uucworcester.org.

Worship at UUCW is the product of many voices, hands and hearts. Each Sunday we look forward to hearing from each other about the important happenings in our lives and the world, and our worship experience is made rich and meaningful because of the variety of voices included in it.

GREENDALE ECUMENICAL GROUP - ADULT FORUM SERIES - Tuesdays @ 7 PM ONLINE Beginning October 1, 2024. We continue our ongoing study of Archeology and the Bible. This part of the series takes us from Persian captivity through the early ministry of Jesus of Nazareth.

Rev. Aaron Payson The Holiday Season is upon us and we are planning a wonderful series of opportunities for worship, seasonal celebrations, and social events! We hope you will join us!!

In solidarity with the mission and ministry of Worcester Fellowship's Thursday Cafe, we are looking for people who are willing to assist in the creation of 60 bagged lunches a month, to be packed on Wednesday evening (dates/time to be determined). Volunteers would gather in the UUCW kitchen for about 1 hour to pack the lunches.

The book group will meet next on Wednesday, December 11that 7 PM in Classroom 3. We will discuss Kristin Hannah's "The Women." A young nurse follows her brother to war in Vietnam in 1965.

If you knit, crochet, cross-stitch, embroidery, hand sew, etc. we invite you to join the Fiber Arts Group. We meet every Wednesday evening, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. A UUCW group has recently formed to discuss issues of racism within our community, our country and abroad. We would love to have you join us on this journey. This group meets, live or online, at 10:00 AM every other Tuesday unless noted below (see church calendar HERE for exact dates).
