Next From Run Tucson: Many of you are running and walking for fun and fitness, while others are training for short-distance events or the fall marathon seasons. To help you prepare for your fitness and running goals, we have three upcoming events for all abilities, all bodies, and all ages:

Next from SAR: In addition, our friends at the non-profit running club, the Southern Arizona Roadrunners, have two events this month. See www.runsar.org for all the details on these two events:

  • Saturday, September 27th Sabino Canyon One Mile FitKidz Classic, free for all children 12-and-under

  • Sunday, September 28th Jim Click's Run n' Roll, a 5k on the UofA campus supporting the UofA Adaptive Athletics program.

Friday, September 12th: Skratch Labs unveils their cool movie about ultra-running, available only on YouTube.

Watch the film and Shop the collab (tee + hat) here: www.skratchlabs.com/pages/what-remains

From Skratch Labs: What Remains isn’t about winning. It’s about what’s left when winning is gone. This film is about the stories we don’t always celebrate, the ones where your day unravels, where the vision you held so tightly slips away. But in that release, something else emerges. The quiet triumph of finishing what you started even when it looks nothing like you hoped.

For both Adam and Alice, the race didn’t go the way they imagined, but maybe that’s the whole point. Despite the results, they still achieved their ultimate goal: the pursuit of what excellence means to them.

So we are here to celebrate this story. The human story. Because whether you’re chasing the podium or chasing the cutoff, the effort is the same. Both hurt. Both matter. And both reveal something true about being human.
