The long term trend in Central Oregon has been increasing housing prices. Fueled by a growing population and a tight inventory, the indicators are this will continue. Lately, I have heard opinions that our market is over-priced, while many investors I speak with are actively looking for properties. Why would investors be buying if there is a correction heading our way? Well, nobody has a crystal ball, but one good reason investors are still interested in buying is the ever-increasing rents in Central Oregon. The same factors that are driving real estate prices are, in many cases affecting rental priceseven more. Whether you are an investor or a renter, today's low rates, combined with seasonal price reductions, make this fall a Spooktacular time to look at your options!
