As caregivers, daily responsibilities can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving little room to pause and recharge. Having a personal space at home dedicated to relaxation—even a small corner—can make a big difference in supporting your well-being. Whether it’s a cozy chair by the window, a quiet reading nook, or simply a spot with calming colors and soft lighting, creating your own retreat can help restore balance, reduce stress, and nurture your inner peace. In this month’s worksheet, we share practical ideas to help you design a relaxing space that feels truly your own.

Caring for a loved one is never easy, and for many caregivers, the journey can feel both overwhelming and isolating. Yet, as this touching blog by Jim LaMorte shows, no caregiver is ever truly alone. Jim shares the inspiring story of his friends, Art and Grace, and how their community of friends and family came together to form a “Caring Circle.” Through small acts of support, compassion, and understanding, this circle provided strength not only to Grace as she battled illness, but also to Art as he devoted himself to her care.
Their story is a moving reminder of how important it is to stand beside caregivers, to offer practical help, and to share the load with love and empathy.
