Dear Supporter & Friend of the Miami Beach JCC,
As we head towards the end of the 2020 calendar year, we here at the Galbut Family Miami Beach JCC on the Simkins Family Campus want to wish you & your family much joy, happiness, and good health. We hope that you have remained safe and healthy during this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. Here at our agency, we are tremendously proud of how we have continued to serve our community in so many new and unique ways ... some “in person at the Center” with strict safety protocols, and others, through a variety of other methods “virtually”. The bottom line is that we continue to make a very positive impact within our Miami Beach community every day.
Even during these most challenging times, our Miami Beach JCC has continued to serve our 5000+ members, program users, and guests personally and virtually. We have done this in so many ways including Summer Camp Klurman for an average of 150 campers per week for 10 weeks, a “School Days @ the J” program, numerous in-person and virtual offerings in Adults/& Cultural Arts, Fitness & Wellness, Sports & Leagues, Gymnastics, & Aquatics, three separate Kosher Food Distributions serving 1,600 meals, a Gratitude Caravan thanking health care workers, a very successful Blood Drive, and more.
As you can imagine - with the necessary mandated safety modifications, our Miami Beach JCC has seen a 30% decrease in operational dollars. And, while the Greater Miami Jewish Federation has played a vital role in granting us Emergency Relief Dollars, your support of our JCC is needed now more than ever!
Traditionally, this is the time of the year when many people consider making their charitable and philanthropic gifts. We sincerely hope that you will choose to help support your MBJCC in our vital year-end fundraising effort. The truth is that we can only continue to do this with the support of people like you.
We thank you, as always, for your on-going support of our Galbut Family Miami Beach JCC on the Simkins Family Campus.
Happy Holidays & Stay Safe,
