The Bishop-Parker Clinic

At The Roskamp Institute

What was once an open construction site is beginning to feel like a real space. Windows are installed, doors are in place, and fresh paint now covers the walls as the vision we’ve been working toward truly begins to take shape.

With each passing week, the Bishop Parker Clinic at The Roskamp Institute looks a little less like a construction project and a little more like the place that will soon welcome our community.

Alongside the construction progress, we’re connecting with local organizations, industry experts, and members of our community to bring a fresh approach to brain health and healthy aging in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

Roskamp Ph.D. Graduate Awarded NIH Grant

Congratulations to Dr. Maxwell Eisenbaum, a graduate of The Roskamp Institute’s Ph.D. program and current scientist, who has received a new research grant from the National Institutes of Health.

His work will explore the connection between vascular health and cognitive decline, helping advance our understanding of vascular contributions to cognitive impairment and dementia. The award also marks an exciting milestone in his journey from Roskamp Ph.D. student to principal investigator of an NIH-funded project.

The Pursuit of Answers in Alzheimer’s Disease

For more than three decades, our scientists have pursued answers to some of the most difficult questions surrounding Alzheimer’s disease.

Today, that work continues as we explore the complex biology behind the disease and seek new approaches to understanding and addressing cognitive decline.

At The Roskamp Institute, each discovery builds on the last as we continue the pursuit of answers that can lead to better outcomes for generations to come.

Read more about where we’ve been, where the research is heading, and why the pursuit continues.
