SLYC MISSION, VISION + VALUES WORKSHOP

The SLYC Board will be hosting a Mission, Vision and Values workshop on Sunday, July 16. The purpose of the meeting is to gain feedback and insight from our members around our mission, vision and values to make sure our statements accurately reflect what's important to our community as a whole.

There will also be some time dedicated to the concept of establishing the Club's goals and objectives over a period of the next 5-10 years.

All are welcome!

Time: 2-3pm

Location: Yacht Club

HOUSEKEEPING NOTES

Thanks to everyone for making the first official week of our SLYC summer so much fun, from the opening day social onward! A couple of notes from the week:

Lost Bracelet

Last week on Juniper, an SLYC member lost a tennis bracelet with tremendous sentimental value.

Boat Parking

As you can see from the photo above (photo credit to Andrew Rush, who had to extricate his Whaler from the dreaded corner position), our boat parking situation is not optimal during peak times at the club.

  • Let's all encourage our family members (and one another) to boat pool whenever possible and to also consider the front dock as a possible parking alternative.
