Did you know that you can customize the way your Reviewers see application data? Acceptd has three helpful tools in the question editor that allow you to streamline what your Reviewers see during adjudication.

We encourage you to give one or more of these a try! And don't worry if your applications are already open - all three of these can be implemented at any time during the application process.

BLIND - Blinding Questions from your Reviewers

Do you have questions on your application that are just for administrative purposes and aren't relevant to those reviewing the submission? Some common examples may be financial aid information, parent/guardian details, or other personal information. Marking a question as Blind will hide the applicant's answer, allowing Reviewers to focus on questions relevant to the applicant's artistic submission.

Please note that Account Owners and Program Managers will still have access to view the answers to questions marked as Blind. You can read more about user permissions here.

ADMIN ONLY - Creating Questions for You

(This option shouldn’t be used on current application questions)

Creating an Admin Only question is a great way for your organization to make any necessary notes or additions to an application; such as ID numbers, scholarship awards, placements, and more. Admin Only questions are never seen by the applicant and you can consider these similar to the section on physical applications labeled “For Office Use Only.” Please note that these questions can only be answered by Account Owners or Program Managers but can be seen by Reviewers.

Admin Only questions are also used when you'd like to import data into your Acceptd submissions. This can be done through a one time import or through a daily integration.

If you have questions about creating Admin Only questions and/or setting up an integration, please reach out to your Account Relations Specialist at accountrelations@getacceptd.com

CUSTOM FIELD - Adding Questions to the About Section

Did you know that the About section (left margin) of an application is customizable? Email, Address, Applicant ID, and Submitted Date are hard-coded there and cannot be removed, but you can always add more! Any question that you mark as a Custom Field will appear there for quick and easy access for your Reviewers. This is great way to highlight an applicant's audition preference, resume, age - whatever is relevant to your process!

Please note that questions set up as child (conditional) questions cannot be marked as Custom Field.
