CORNERSTONE HAPPENINGS

Our Community Oncology Leadership Advancement Initiative (COLAI) meeting was held virtually on June 10th and focused on "Strategic Evaluation and Implementation of AI into Community Practices". The panel discussion featured Troy Simon, CEO of the Los Angeles Cancer Network and Medical Oncology Associates of San Diego, and Neel Shah, MD, of Northwest Cancer Centers, and explored how community oncology leaders can navigate the increasingly complex AI landscape and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency, drive revenue, and support high‑quality patient care.

We’re excited to announce a strategic partnership between Cornerstone Specialty Network and Knowtex to advance AI-driven clinical workflows across community oncology and multispecialty practices. By leveraging voice-enabled AI technology, this collaboration will streamline documentation, automate medical coding, and integrate directly into EMR platforms—helping reduce administrative burden, improve operational efficiency, and enhance patient care. This is another step forward in our commitment to strengthening independent community oncology practices nationwide.
