2019 was a productive year

for DriveElectricTN

We accomplished a lot in 2019! Thank you for engaging in DriveElectricTN (DET) initiatives and projects with us.

Our DET vision is straightforward – together, we will advance the state of Tennessee as the electric transportation leader in the Southeast. We, along with the program's original stakeholders and many others, have ambitious plans to complete various initiatives and projects over the next several years in order to drive DET to meet its current and future goals.

In our 2019 Year in Review release, we detail many of our accomplishments from our first year. The momentum we built in 2019 is translating to some exciting work gaining speed in 2020...

2019 EV Experience ™ survey results

One of our most successful initiatives is our statewide DET EV Experience ™ Ride n' Drive program . We work with various local to national stakeholders to develop these events free-of-charge.

In 2019, DET conducted 20 EV Experience ™ events across the state. We asked many participants to fill out Pre- and Post-Drive surveys to chart their enthusiasm about EVs and their likelihood of buying or leasing one as their next vehicle.

Currently, we’re creating a statewide email communication network – a unified front – where EV pioneers and advocates can receive up-to-date information, ideas, stories and relevant resources.

As a part of this network, participants will receive updates about ongoing DET projects and information about to get involved themselves.
