Menu

week of October 27th ~ October 31st

Tuesday: Wedding Soup / Corn and Poblano Soup

~ Do I really even have to say much about this first soup of the week?

You all know it and you all love it. Roast chicken, carrots, onions, greens, tons of those small homemade meatballs, and of course that favorite pearl pasta. Dinner is a one stop, one bowl, kind of night.

Let's use some of that Ambrose corn we have stocked up in our freezer and make a cozy summer flavored soup. This soup has a smokey, herbaceous, and flavorful taste within a creamy base. Ideal for lunch and would pair beautifully with our salad of the week

Wednesday- Stuffed Breads

~Pepperoni Rolls and Flavor of the Week Roll

~Focaccia

~Olive Oil Bread

Thursday- African Peanut Stew / Beef Noodle Soup

~ I cannot tell you how much I have been craving this soup! So full of flavor; savory, tangy, earthy, and just a touch of sweet. Stocked full of textures with the sweet potatoes and peanuts, make this soup hard to stop eating. I will definitely be taking some of this home with me.

Beef noodle is a classic comforting soup no matter the time of year. Tender, melt in your mouth chunks of beef, carrots, onions, and our favorite homestyle noodles. All of that deliciousness in a savory perfectly seasoned broth. Grab a loaf of our rosemary garlic bread and scoop up all that goodness.

Friday- Pasta Primavera

~ If you haven't had our Primavera, you are certainly missing out. This meal is built in layers, layers of flavors and textures. First we lightly roast fresh squash, zucchini, red onion, carrots, and broccoli. We then make a butter, oil, and herb sauce where we blister cherry tomatoes in. This all comes together over a bed of linguini. Dinner is done.

Saturday- Quiche

~ Jalapeno Popper

~ Sausage, Potato, Cheddar

~ Spinach, Tomato, Italian Cheese

Chef Salad

~ Ham and turkey rolled up, shredded cheese, hardboiled egg, tomatoes, and cucumber, all on a bed of mixed greens. Our house made ranch or honey balsamic pairs perfectly with this hearty salad.
