Mary Bresnahan, Assistant Vice President for Student Success
  • How long have you been working at Assumption? I’ve been working at Assumption for 31 years (yikes!). What keeps me here? The joy and purpose found daily in interacting with the students and community. Each day when I close my office door, I know I’ve worked with and learned from others for the greater good. That’s a gift.
  • What is it about Assumption students that inspires you? Assumption students are genuine, dedicated, earnest, and lack entitlement. I’m inspired by their trust in me to walk along side them as they navigate all the challenges and growth that life in college brings.
  • What is one of your favorite spots on campus? I will say, my current office has the most incredible view. I can see the blue umbrellas, the campus pathways, and the classroom windows that will soon be filled with light, energy, and life that make this community what it is. It’s a vantage point I deeply appreciate and keeps me in check with what’s important.

Feel free to reach out to Mary if you have any student questions or concerns. She looks forward to working with you!
