June 19th is Juneteenth! We are open our regular Friday hours of 9:30am–5:30pm.

Local Author Meet-and-Greet

We are excited to host Ari Koontz for a meet-and-greet! Ari will be here with their middle-grade novel, Just Ask Elsie, about a middle school student sharing with her peers what she has learned about sexual education including gender, sexuality, consent, and identity. 

Grown-ups and kiddos alike will have a great time meeting this author.

Father's Day Is Sunday, June 21st!

Celebrate Father's Day with cards, books, and other great gifts!

We will be open our regular Sunday hours of 11:00am–4:00pm.

Whale of a Sale!

We have a TON of books and items set aside for Whale of a Sale! Come downtown on Saturday, June 27th for the town's annual sidewalk sale.

We will be open from 9:30am–5:30pm.

Independence Day—CLOSED!

We will be closed for the 4th of July. Have a safe and happy holiday!

We are excited to welcome Pam McGaffin back to the shop for a meet-and-greet!

Her new book is Shade of Wings, a speculative YA novel about a family of crows.
