Update on Pre-Approved Exterior Paint Colors

The Sincuidados Design Review Committee (DRC) is pleased to announce the latest update to our list of pre-approved exterior paint colors. This update is part of our ongoing effort to keep our neighborhood's appearance fresh and in harmony with the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert.

The newly revised list, featuring a range of colors selected to complement our unique landscape, includes the manufacturer's name, paint number, and Light Reflective Value (LRV) for each color. Residents can view this list online at the Sincuidados website under New Sincuidados Pre-approved Exterior Paint Colors (https://sincuidados.org/miscellaneous-guidelines/).

For those wishing to see the colors in person, a binder with full-size color swatches is available for checkout at the Pima Gatehouse. This resource is especially useful for homeowners planning to repaint their homes, providing an accurate representation of how each color will look once applied.

The effective date for using these new pre-approved colors is June 1, 2024. By selecting a pre-approved color, residents will benefit from a streamlined approval process through the DRC. However, those preferring to use a custom color can still do so as long as it aligns with the aesthetic of our community. Approval of a custom color requires the additional step of painting a 2' x 2' sample on the home's stucco for committee review.

If you have any questions about the paint colors or the approval process, please reach out to Michael Knapp, Chair of the Design Review Committee.

We encourage all homeowners to utilize these resources to ensure their home not only meets community standards but also enhances the overall beauty of Sincuidados. Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to maintaining the distinctive look and feel of our community.

Recent Mailing: Sincuidados Community Directory

The latest issue of the Sincuidados Community Directory has been mailed to all residents. We hope you have already received your copy and are finding it a helpful resource.

If you have not received your directory, please reach out to Regina Knapp at nycaaz65@gmail.com. We have a limited number of extra copies available for those who may not have received theirs.

Additionally, your feedback and prompt reporting are essential to ensure all residents are well-informed and connected. If you have suggestions for changes or additions for the next edition, please let us know.

Recently, a plastic bag filled with pet waste was left on one of our neighbor's driveways. This incident is against community standards of cleanliness and we urge all pet owners to ensure that pet waste is disposed of properly. Please do not leave waste of any kind on streets, sidewalks, or driveways.

In addition, we ask that residents prevent their dogs from urinating on neighbors' trash bins. Many of us store these bins inside our garages, and it is unpleasant to bring a soiled bin into a clean space.

We all share responsibility for keeping Sincuidados clean and pleasant for everyone and appreciate your attention to this matter.

Keep Sincuidados beautiful.

Be kind and courteous to your neighbors.

Please obey our stop signs and speed limits.

We hope these updates keep you in the loop throughout the year. Stay tuned for more interesting developments, and as always, feel free to reach out with any thoughts, questions, or suggestions you may have.
