The Sunnyvale Police Department will host the 5th annual DEA Drug Take Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26 at 364 Long Creek Road.

East Fork Bridge Update

Repairs are underway on the East Fork Bridge over Duck Creek. Spring floods caused structural damage, prompting the Town of Sunnyvale to close the bridge. Repair construction is expected to last through November.

Visit the Town website for more information.

Collins Road Beautification Project Underway

A key beautification project is underway. The Town of Sunnyvale is working to improve the look of Collins Road from US 80 all the way through the roundabout at Tripp Road by adding landscaping and irrigation along the medians and in the Tripp Roundabout.

Additional enhancements will include water fountains and hardscape in the roundabout area. This project is expected to continue into mid-2025.

For more information, visit the project page on the Town website.

Adoption Fees Waived!

Kodak – is a 2-year-old male German Shepherd. He came to the shelter with a severe injury to his tail and has been at the shelter for over 370 days. He has a wonderful personality thanks to his calm demeanor. Although anxious at times, Kodak will show his ability to be a warm companion, once he is familiar with you.

We currently have many adoptable animals in our shelter looking for a new place to call home. Learn more by visiting our Petfinder page or calling (214) 862-4525.
