The Superior Enterprise Center is a program of Rebuild Superior Inc. funded through a partnership with Resolution Copper

Enterprise Center Highlights

The Superior Enterprise Center is excited to announce that work on the electrical panel will begin the first week in September. This improvement will allow us to begin our welding program in October.

A community meeting will be held to provide a full update and tour. More information on date and time to come soon!

Thank you again to Resolution Copper and their generosity for assisting us with the necessary panel updates.

The Enterprise Center Receives Sewing Machines!

Once again our partners at Chicanos Por La Causa have come through with an amazing donation. On Thursday, the Enterprise Center received 4 industrial sewing machines to be used by residents of the Copper Triangle.

We are excited to provide these machines to residents who are looking to learn a new skill, practice a craft, or start an entrepreneurial endeavor.

Superior Enterprise Center Tips

Using sketches, rough designs, or stand-in props can be a great communication technique when you're describing something new (or new to your audience). When an entrepreneur describe products and features using these types of tools, it's called prototyping.

Here are a few ways you might think about prototyping your product idea:

  • Paper Prototypes:
  • Paper prototyping involves creating low-fidelity mockups using pen and paper or sticky notes. It allows entrepreneurs to quickly sketch out ideas, iterate on designs, and gather feedback at an early stage.
  • Paper prototypes are cost-effective, easily modifiable, and facilitate rapid ideation and collaboration. In other words, you can get quick feedback and make new sketches right away.
  • Materials & Tools: paper, pen, scissors, tape, etc.
  • Wire-framing Tools:
  • Wire-framing tools enable entrepreneurs to create digital, static representations of user interfaces. These tools provide a visual framework for the layout and functionality of a product or website.
  • Wireframes are useful for testing user flows, identifying potential usability issues, and communicating design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Materials & Tools: you can make beautiful wireframes in Google Slides (PowerPoint), Canva, or one or our favorite apps called POP - Prototyping on Paper
  • Mockup and UI Design Tools:
  • Prototyping platforms combine the functionalities of wire framing, design, and interactive prototyping tools into a single comprehensive solution. These platforms often provide pre-built design components, collaboration features, and user testing capabilities.
  • Prototyping platforms streamline the prototyping process and offer a holistic approach to building and testing prototypes.
