New Venues, Fresh Perspectives 

One of the most anticipated changes this year is our move to the RiverCentre in St. Paul for the ASCEND Conference. Mark your calendars for this can't-miss event! 


Monthly Core Events: A Predictable Rhythm for Your Calendar 

We are also introducing a streamlined events schedule. All core events—chapter meetings, partner sessions, networking opportunities, and more—will now take place on the third Tuesday of each month. This change is designed to make it easier for you to plan your involvement and maximize the value of your membership.

ASCEND & Programs Committee 

Shape the educational and networking opportunities for FPA of Minnesota members by contributing to the ASCEND Conference and monthly programs. This combined committee ensures our marquee events, including the ASCEND Conference, deliver exceptional content and foster connections. It also organizes engaging, educational monthly programs featuring speakers and topics tailored to member interests. 


Communications Committee 

The Communications Committee promotes the value of FPA of Minnesota to professionals within the financial services industry. By highlighting membership benefits, professional development opportunities, and advocacy efforts, the committee strengthens FPA of Minnesota’s reputation and ensures members and prospects understand the unique value of involvement. 


Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee

Financial Education Committee

Kick off 2025 with purpose! Join FPA-MN and the Minnesota Gift Planning Association on January 21 for our first Chapter Meeting of the year, where we’ll focus on integrating charitable planning into your practice. This meeting features two insightful sessions led by industry experts to enhance your knowledge and confidence in guiding clients through philanthropic strategies.

Charitable Remainder Trusts: The Pros, the Cons, and Next Steps in Funding One 

Speaker: Christy Boysen, Founder & CEO, Apex Legacy Consultants

The Financial Planning Association of Minnesota is excited to announce its 2025 events calendar, featuring a lineup of signature gatherings that will all take place on the third Tuesday of each month. This shift reflects FPA MN’s commitment to offering consistent, valuable programming that supports our members’ professional development, networking opportunities, and community engagement.

FPA National - Chapter Leaders Conference 

FPA of Minnesota is proud to announce that members of our Board will be attending the upcoming FPA Chapter Leaders Conference, a two-day event designed to empower and equip chapter leaders from across the country.
