Crosstown Connection: Oct 22 - Nov 5

A Word from Pastor Paul

Dear Members and Friends at Crosstown,

What a gift this past stretch of days have been with pleasant temps, sunshine and fall colors. “To everything there is a season” the Bible reminds us. Enjoy each season, including the changing seasons of our lives and of our church life. This Sunday (October 25) we will hold our Congregational Meeting and prayer gathering at the end of our worship service time. We will hear updates from the pastoral search committee, highlights from each of our ministry teams and spend time in prayer together - just like the first church in Acts. Our updates will include looking ahead at December - what might we do this December as a church to invite and lovingly serve the surrounding community? We will share thoughts and invite you to get involved - it will take many hands willing to pitch in.

The Lord is with us, we are doing well, see you Sunday,

Pastor Paul (paulmurphy@charter.net)

Update from the Leadership Team

During our recent Leadership Team meeting, we were blessed to host our Ministry Team leaders and get a sneak peek of the highlights of the incredible work and passion poured into the ministry areas at Crosstown. I am excited for our entire church family to hear from the team leaders at the Congregational Meeting this Sunday. We'll also hear updates from the Pastoral Search Committee and spend time together praying for our church and the search process.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Leadership Team Chair
