A PUBLIC CALL: Invite friends and fellow activists to join
Raising the WILPF Roof for
Anti-Poverty and Anti-Racism
Partnering with the Poor Peoples Campaign and turning out for the Virtual Mass Action on June 20th
& plans for two Solidarity Actions in 2020
Today we are experiencing the convergence of two forces:
- The spontaneous uprising triggered by yet another murder by hypermilitarized police and
- The call from the Poor People's Campaign to unite with their National Call for Moral Revival on June 20, 2020, for a Mass Poor People's Assembly and Moral March on Washington.
Mary Bricker Jenkins will set the stage for our June 20th actions with the Poor People's Campaign VIRTUAL MARCH ON WASHINGTON, against the backdrop of massive protests against police violence against black and brown people and the continued rise in COVID-19.
Be part of the PPC's virtual Mass Assembly simply by registering! Use this
WILPF-specific link.
Also, we'll talk about next steps throughout the Summer and Fall.
Our MEMBER FORUM will report on the progress we're making towards two SOLIDARITY ACTIONS for 2020 and early 2021. Make sure your branch is represented
At-Large WILPF members, you too can participate in WILPF actions across the US! Tune in to learn what you can do.
