REGIONAL WATER AUTHORITY: RWA Unveils New Pipeline Protection Program for Commercial Customers: The Regional Water Authority (RWA) today announced the launch of PipeSafeā„  Commercial, a new protection program designed to help qualifying businesses avoid the expense and disruption of unexpected water and sewer line emergencies.

For more than 25 years, RWA's PipeSafeā„  plans have provided peace of mind for residential customers, helping households across the region avoid the cost and inconvenience of unexpected repairs to water service lines, sewer lines and related infrastructure.

Now, that same trusted protection is available to businesses in the RWA’s service territory. Starting at less than $1 per day, PipeSafeā„  Commercial plans help cover the cost of repairs to customer-owned water service and sewer lines. The program includes 24/7 support, access to qualified contractors, and project management from emergency response through site restoration.

ā€œPipeSafeā„  has been immensely popular with our residential customers, and approximately 55% of RWA customers are enrolled in one or more of our protection plans,ā€ said Dan Timmeny, Assistant Director of Commercial Business Protection Programs at the RWA. ā€œBusinesses face many of the same risks that homeowners do when underground water or sewer lines fail, often with even greater operational and financial consequences. We're proud to offer an affordable solution tailored to the needs of our commercial customers.ā€

PipeSafeā„  Commercial plans protect the customer-owned portion of the underground water service and/or sewer lines that connect a property to the utility system. Coverage includes common issues such as leaks, breaks and clogs, as well as the excavation and restoration associated with covered repairs. Customers also receive 24/7 support and priority response for covered service events.

Coverage options vary based on service connection size and customer needs. PipeSafeā„  Commercial Sewer plans include two camera inspections and two hydro-jetting services per year.

Businesses interested in obtaining a free quote or learning more about PipeSafeā„  Commercial can visit rwatersolutions.com/pipesafe-commercial.
