PROPHETIC LEADERSHIP ESSENTIALS #18

VOLUME 18 | OCTOBER 2026

Inspire Vision and Direction

Dear Prophetic Leader,

Vision is the compass of prophetic leadership.

Without vision, leaders may be active—but not aligned.

Movement may occur, but without direction, it leads to fragmentation rather than progress.

Prophetic leaders are not only called to discern what God is saying—they are called to translate that into clear direction for others.

Many leaders desire clarity for themselves and those they lead. Yet the internal tension often sounds like this: “What is God showing me for this season? How do I communicate it in a way that others can follow?”

Scripture underscores the importance of vision in Proverbs 29:18: “Where there is no vision, the people perish.”

Vision brings alignment. It provides structure for movement and meaning for action.

To inspire vision and direction:

  • Seek God intentionally for clarity of purpose
  • Articulate vision in a way that is clear and actionable
  • Reinforce vision consistently—not just once
  • Align decisions and actions with the vision you carry

Vision is not merely inspiration—it is instruction.

At PureSpring Institute, we emphasize that leaders who see clearly must also communicate clearly. Vision must move from revelation to articulation, and from articulation to implementation.

When vision is clear:

  • People move with confidence
  • Efforts align with purpose
  • Momentum builds with consistency

See what God is showing.

Speak it clearly.

Lead others into it.

Because vision is not only what you carry—it is what you release.

All the Best,

Pastors Ronald & Kathleen Verna

FROMATION FOR THE SEASON AHEAD

SPL1000 — PROPHETIC LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES

October 19–December 7 | Mondays

Governing Question: Who Am I Becoming?

Prophetic leadership begins with the formation of the leader.

SPL1000 establishes the biblical and spiritual foundations of prophetic leadership, helping students examine identity, character, calling, spiritual formation, leadership maturity, and the relationship between gifting and becoming.

This is the foundational entry point into the School of Prophetic Leadership and an important course for anyone who recognizes prophetic grace but understands that calling must be accompanied by formation.

Best suited for: emerging prophetic leaders, ministry leaders seeking stronger foundations, and students beginning the Certified Prophetic Practitioner pathway.

SPL2000 — PROPHETIC PARADIGMS

October 20–December 8 | Tuesdays

Governing Question: How Do Prophetic Leaders Understand Reality?

How we understand God, Scripture, the Church, culture, justice, mission, and the world around us affects how we interpret what we discern.

SPL2000 develops the theological and interpretive frameworks prophetic leaders need to see beyond isolated impressions and engage the larger purposes of God.

Students examine prophetic ministry within biblical, ecclesial, cultural, missional, and social contexts—including the relationship between prophetic leadership, social justice, transformation, and Kingdom witness.

Best suited for: leaders ready to deepen the theological framework beneath their prophetic ministry and develop a more mature understanding of the environments they are called to serve.

SPL3000 — PROPHETIC PRACTICE

October 22–December 17 | Thursdays

Governing Question: How Do I Minister?

Receiving revelation and ministering revelation are not the same skill.

SPL3000 focuses on the responsible practice of prophetic ministry: discerning what is being perceived, distinguishing revelation from interpretation, communicating appropriately, ministering with pastoral sensitivity, and developing the wisdom necessary to serve people rather than simply deliver information.

The goal is not merely greater prophetic activity. It is greater prophetic competency, maturity, and trustworthiness.

Best suited for: developing and experienced prophetic practitioners who want to strengthen how they discern, communicate, and minister.

MORE THAN A COURSE.

A FORMATION PATHWAY.

MORE THAN THREE COURSES

These courses belong to a larger formation pathway.

The Certified Prophetic Practitioner (CPP) pathway is organized around four foundational questions:

SPL1000 — Who Am I Becoming?

SPL2000 — How Do Prophetic Leaders See?

SPL3000 — How Do I Minister?

SPL4000 — How Does Revelation Work?

Formation extends beyond the classroom through supervised prophetic practice, mentoring, portfolio development, faculty review, assessment, and preparation for certification and commissioning.

For leaders pursuing advanced formation, the Master Prophetic Practitioner (MPP) pathway continues into prophetic protocols and ethics, advanced practicums, Leadership Labs, advanced mentoring, strategic ministry leadership, and master-level assessment.

The result is an intentional progression:

Instruction → Mentoring → Practice → Assessment → Certification → Commissioning

Because our conviction is simple:

Prophetic leaders should not merely become more gifted. They should become more trustworthy with what God entrusts to them.

WHO SHOULD CONSIDER THIS FALL?

This formation may be particularly appropriate if you are already sensing a prophetic call but need stronger biblical foundations; have been ministering prophetically but recognize gaps in your formation; carry leadership responsibility and want greater maturity in how you steward revelation; have received fragmented prophetic training and are ready for a coherent developmental pathway; or believe your next season requires more than another conference, activation, or inspirational encounter.

You do not need to have everything figured out before entering formation.

But you should be willing to be formed.
