Dear Chamber Friends,

As October begins and the autumn air settles across our community, we are all preparing for the seasonal routine of “falling back” with daylight saving time. Beyond turning back our clocks, autumn offers a valuable moment to step back from our busy daily schedules and fall back on what truly matters: our community, our shared vision, and the foundation that makes Colerain a wonderful place to grow.

This month, taking the time to reconnect is easier, and more important than ever. The Chamber is expanding its professional development lineup with the launch of Coffee with Champions, a peer-driven leadership workshop designed to foster collaborative growth and real-world skill sharing among local professionals. I am so excited that Lance Miller, founder of Coffee with Champions, will be joining us for the first session.

I personally invite you to join us in November for our Leadership Breakfast, proudly sponsored by Sibcy Cline and The Colerain Chamber. We are calling on our entire community: business owners and leaders, non-profit leaders, heads of local churches, community residents, school employees, real estate professionals, chamber members and potential chamber members to gather and hear a powerful theme: "Why Colerain."

It is easy to get caught up in the fast pace of daily operations, but this breakfast will serve as an inspiring reminder of all the remarkable things happening right around us. During the event, you will receive key updates on:

· The Home Market: Insights into residential growth and housing trends in our area.

· Our Schools: Highlights on educational initiatives and achievements shaping our future leaders.

· Economic Development: Updates on local business growth, investment, and township projects.

· Community Safety: Reports on ongoing safety initiatives keeping our neighborhood strong and secure.

Additionally, we will share an essential message for all local businesses regarding SOCA (Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance) benefits available through your Chamber membership. From group health insurance savings to key business resources, learning how to leverage these advantages can directly impact your bottom line.

Whether you run a business, lead a congregation, teach in our schools, or call Colerain your home, this event is designed for you. Take the time to come, engage, and rediscover why we choose to live, work, and play in Colerain Township.

When we fall back on the strength of our community and stay informed, we build a brighter future together. Get involved, make a connection, take action! I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming Chamber event!

♻️Rumpke's Recycling Tip of the Month

Keep Those Lids Straight!

Not sure what to do with lids before tossing items in the recycling bin? Plastic lids should be fastened back onto plastic bottles, jugs, and tubs. Metal lids are different. Those should be placed loose in your recycling bin.

A small step can make a big difference in helping us recycle right!

💚Want to Learn More?

Chamber member Rumpke offers FREE waste and recycling presentations for businesses, schools and organizations! Learn about proper recycling, waste reduction and what happens to your materials after they're collected.

You can even take a behind-the-scenes facility tour to see the recycling process firsthand.

📧 To schedule a presentation, contact Hannah Hengehold at hannah.hengehold@rumpke.com

To schedule a tour, fill out the tour request form on our website.

♻️ Green Team in Action!

Recycling starts with good habits, and these students are leading the way! Pleasant Run Middle School’s Green Team collects recyclable materials from classrooms, helping their school reduce waste while encouraging fellow students to recycle right.

We love seeing the next generation working together to make a difference in our community!👏
