Dear Savio Community,

A heartfelt thank you to the 125 Savio families who invested in our students during this year’s Week of Giving. Because of your generosity, students will benefit from enhanced opportunities, resources, and experiences that strengthen the Savio mission today and throughout this school year.

Your support is already creating an impact. As of Tuesday evening, our community has contributed $223,513, bringing us to 88% of our annual goal of $255,000. Every gift, regardless of size, is helping ensure that Savio students continue to receive the exceptional Catholic education and formation that define our school.

While we celebrate this tremendous progress, there is still an exciting opportunity ahead. Participation is one of the strongest measures of our community's commitment

to Savio. Increased participation demonstrates to current and prospective families, alumni, foundations, and friends that our community believes in the mission and future of the school.

• 58% Parent Leadership Participation
• 100% Board Participation

Evening With Eagles – Fall Open House

On Wednesday, November 12, from 5:30–8:00 p.m., we will host our annual Evening With Eagles – Fall Open House for prospective families. This is our most important recruitment event of the year, and we would love your help in making it a memorable and successful evening!


There are two ways you can help:


1. Volunteer!

This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a Savio family and share with prospective families what makes our school so special. The energy, enthusiasm, and hospitality of our community make a lasting impression on families considering Savio!

Savio parents, grandparents, and guardians are all welcome to volunteer. Two shifts are available, so you can choose the time that works best for your schedule. Even if you can only help for part of a shift, we would be incredibly grateful for your time and support!

• Shift 1: 4:00–6:00 p.m.
• Shift 2: 6:00–8:00 p.m.

2. Spread the Word!

The SPA Rosary Group Invites You to Pray With US!

Throughout the school year, the SPA Rosary Group prays one decade of the Rosary for every Savio staff member, teacher, coach, and student—each by name. You are welcome to join us anytime, either in person or online!

We gather Monday through Thursday at 8:30 a.m. in the chapel on campus.

We will begin praying for the freshman class in October. All families will be notified by email when their student's turn is approaching. Families of freshmen and seniors will also receive a notification by mail. Please make sure the school has your current contact information.

You may share prayer intentions with us by emailing sparosary@saviochs.org. We look forward to praying with you—and for you—this year!

Project Graduation Spirit Night
After a busy weekend and day golfing at the Eagle Classic, let’s take the night off from cooking on Monday, November 9 from 4-10 pm! Please join us for Spirit Night on November 9th at the Lakeline P Terry’s! Proceeds benefit Savio Project Graduation. Mention Project Graduation or show the flyer before ordering.

No Shave November
Are you ready for No Shave November?!? Each year the Savio community comes together to raise money for the fight against cancer throughout the month of November. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Students who have grown beards will get to show them off on December 3 during an assembly and will compete to win many different beard awards! The winner of Best Overall Beard gets to keep it for the rest of the semester. 

You have three ways to participate!

• For $35 you get a t-shirt, 10 votes, and get to grow a beard during the month of November (male students).
• Can’t grow a beard? No worries, for $25 you still get a t-shirt and 5 votes (any student).
• Buy votes for $1 each throughout the month of November for the teacher or staff member you want to see clean-shaven!

Future Health Professionals Club Luminaria Fundraiser for the American Cancer Society

Please join the Future Health Professionals Club in their effort to support the American Cancer Society.

For a $5 donation, we will create a Luminaria bag in honor of someone who has been affected by cancer. All proceeds will be donated directly to the American Cancer Society.

Your bag will be decorated with the name of your loved one, lit, and displayed during the No-Shave November School Rally. A school-wide prayer of support and remembrance will also be offered in their honor at that time.
