The Small Business Administration and CT River Valley Chamber is hosting a FREE Veteran Business Expo next week, November 2, to showcase resources available to veterans, transitioning active-duty military and military spouses who own a small business or are budding entrepreneurs. This is a unique event as it offers both trainings and access to business counseling and capital.

Welcome Glastonbury Eye Care to the Chamber!

Glastonbury Eye Care has acquired and redesigned the office of Glastonbury Opticians which has been serving Glastonbury for around 25 years. They now offer a full range of eye care services including comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations. Glastonbury Eye Care is owned by local resident Dr. John Nedelcu and his business partner Dr. Lauren Colite. Meetings are on the 1^st/3^rd Thursdays monthly, 2-3 PM at Total Mortgage in Glastonbury. This group will be co-facilitated by Kelly Turner and Tracy Williams.

We are looking to fill the following open positions in the group:

• Interior Design

• Event Planner
