Jain Center of Southern California (JCSC) Hosts Successful Fundraiser, Raising $455,000 for Disaster Relief

The Jain Center of Southern California (JCSC) successfully hosted a community-driven fundraiser on February 1st, raising an impressive $455,000 to aid institutions impacted by recent disasters. Part of JCSC’s “Seva in Action” initiative, the event saw overwhelming support, following a highly successful donation drive.
In collaboration with JAINA, ACC, JTLA, SRLC, TCCOP, and others, JCSC aimed to support animal shelters, libraries, schools, and senior centers affected by wildfires. The event featured distinguished dignitaries such as Connor Traut, Joyce Ahn, Sameer Shah, Dr. Jayesh Shah, Chris Holden, Ali Sajjad Taj, and Vishal Narayan, with media coverage by SoCal Channel.
Dr. Jayesh Shah led the initiative, emphasizing community-driven relief efforts, while JCSC President Sameer Shah expressed deep gratitude to all contributors. The event brought together organizations like Sanatan Dharma Temple, VHP, Shreeji Mandir, Gayatri Parivar, IASH, AISA, and Sunshine Senior Center, reinforcing the power of collective action in rebuilding communities.
JCSC remains committed to humanitarian aid, ensuring affected individuals and institutions receive the necessary resources to rebuild their lives.

Jain Sangh of Montreal Comes Together for Mahaveer Jain Puja | |
The Jain Sangh of Montreal gathered in February for a heartfelt Mahaveer Jain Puja, performed with devotion and enthusiasm. Members joined in singing Jain stavans and offering rice, cloves, dry coconut, and chandan water as part of the rituals. The puja concluded with aarti and mangal divo, bringing the community together in a spirit of faith and unity.
The Sangh cherishes the tradition of members celebrating their special occasions with the community.

Jaina India Foundation Chair, Dr. Bipin Doshi will be embarking on 3rd Ahimsa Yatra of USA during 1 May to 10 July 2025. During his US visit, he will be speaker at the JAINA convention 2025 in Chicago and will be available without hosting cost for lecture/workshop on Jain philosophy at NA Jain centers, Universities & religious institutes. JAINA Team Invites JITO Delegation for JAINA Convention 2025

The JAINA team, comprising Mr. Atulbhai Shah, Mr. Sharadbhai Doshi, and Dr. Bipin Doshi, recently met with JITO Chairman, Shri Prithviraj Kothari, to extend a formal invitation for a JITO delegation to attend the JAINA Convention 2025, scheduled to take place in Chicago from July 3–6, 2025.
We are pleased to announce that Shri Prithviraj Kothari, Shri Hiteshbhai Doshi, and Shri Mahaveer Mehta have confirmed their participation, with many more expected to join.
This collaboration marks a significant moment, bringing together JAINA and JITO, the two largest non-sectarian Jain organizations, fostering unity and shared vision for the global Jain community.
