Reinventing the Industrial Base through Innovation and Creativity: Sept. 11th 1 - 2 pm ET

Since our last symposium at Youngstown State University on June 11th and 12th, we have continued to influence change and Project Calls with the America Makes IMPACT 2.0 announcement. The Part B Topic is for a “Rapid Casting Demonstration Challenge”. This will be a race to demonstrate reverse engineering and part delivery where the part will not be announced until day 1 of the second phase of the effort. In this webinar, we will further expand our outreach into complimentary National Institutes as the power of collaboration must be expanded across our network. In addition, we will talk about the headwinds that confront us in implementing innovation within the small and medium based suppliers as it is not an easy task to overcome within today’s industrial environment. Our discussion panel will include experts who have been there and part of significant changes in manufacturing, technology insertion, and innovation identification.
