More speakers announced

Richard Singer, Chief Executive Officer, ICE Travel Group; Dame Irene Hays, Owner and Chair, Hays Travel, and Garry Wilson, CEO, easyJet Holidays will join the industry speaker line-up in Marrakech.

Richard, Dame Irene and Garry will join a panel to discuss travel’s new landscape, with a particular focus on how the economic outlook could affect the sector in 2023 and beyond.

Cycle for LifeLine

The ABTA LifeLine Convention cycle ride will take place on Monday 10 October. All proceeds will go towards supporting ABTA LifeLine and Amal, which helps disadvantaged women in Morocco.

Led by one of Intrepid Travel's female tour guides, the ride will begin at Al-Manara Gardens and finish at the Amal Association for lunch.

Sustainable destinations

Joining the sustainability panel,

Matt Callaghan, Director of Customer

and Operations at easyJet Holidays, will address the company’s sustainability strategy which was launched in 2021 with a mission to have a positive impact on destinations and people.

He will speak about the importance of taking actions in destinations to make sustainable travel affordable and accessible to all. This includes taking opportunities within supply chains, the natural environment and the local economy.
