Learning For Kids and Adults

Two great educational programs are back this summer, one geared for adults and one for preschoolers.

Tiny Explorer classes are designed for a child and caretaker to learn together. Get closer to nature and learn about animal textures through games, activities, and animal encounters. Tiny Explorers are June 1, July 13, and August 3 from 10-11 am. They’re $17 for the primary adult and child together. Zoo Members receive a 10% discount.

Curious Conservationists camps are a chance for adults looking for a more up close and personal experience at the Zoo. Find out what it takes to run a Zoo, meet some of our animals, and learn more about conservation. Curious Conservationists camps are June 15, July 14, and August 17 from 9 am – 3 pm. They’re $50 each, per person, and Zoo Members receive a 10% discount.

Eat and Drink Ticket Sale

Start the summer with great memories at the Zoo! We’re just about 2 weeks away from Eat and Drink at the Zoo, presented by Majority Builders. This coming weekend, we’re offering a Memorial Day sale on Eat and Drink general admission tickets. Get 10% off Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. No code needed!

Eat and Drink is our annual all-inclusive food and drink sampling event. Enjoy unlimited food, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drink samples from over 30 stations. Plus, we’ll have music and lots of fun experiences available!

General Admission is $90, and VIP Admission is $130. VIP includes early entry, a specialty cocktail, specialty samples, and FREE giraffe feeding!

Children's Day

Children’s Day, presented by United Federal Credit Union, is coming up on June 12, and it’ll be an exciting time at the Zoo! Children 14 and under can get free admission all day, thanks to UFCU, our generous partner.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. This discount doesn’t apply to attractions, concessions, or admission for people over age 14. It also doesn’t apply to field trips or group tours.

Zoo Snooze Sleepovers

Zoo sleepovers are right around the corner! Sign up to camp out at the Zoo, and learn what the animals do after the sun goes down! Sleepovers include animal encounters, Zoo Keeper Chat, a flashlight tour, and so much more.

We have five scheduled Zoo Snoozes: June 21-22; July 20-21; August 23-24; September 14-15; and October 4-5. Zoo Snoozes are $45 per person. Zoo Members receive a 10% discount.

Summer Hours Start Soon

From June 1 to August 31, the Zoo will be open from 10 am to 8 pm.

We’ll also be changing our giraffe feeding hours! Starting June 1, giraffe feeding will be all day, from 10:30 to 7 pm. We hope you enjoy this summer at the Zoo!
